What to Wear to a Holiday Party if You're a Lover of Neutrals

Happy belated Thanksgiving! I hope you spent yours surrounded by loved ones, because I sure did. ☺️ November is my favorite month for the obvious reason of Thanksgiving, and because it's my birthday month! Tomorrow may or may not be my birthday...

True story: I wore this outfit to my cousin's Sweet 16 party over the weekend so it's definitely a tried and true outfit ;) The loose top was perfect for the day after I stuffed myself to the brim with alllll of the classic Thanksgiving foods, but especially my cousin's homemade cheesecake! I may or may not have eaten ⅓ of that cake all by myself...

Anyway, I thought that this was a perfect outfit for this season, since there are so many parties! We all know that I'm not a huge fan of bright colors, so I'm constantly trying to come up with festive yet semi-neutral outfits (and yes, I do consider blue to be a neutral). With the addition of skinny jeans, sparkly accessories (thank you Mom for the beautiful necklace!), heeled booties with gold details, and a mauve lip, this outfit would work for a variety of occasions. It's not overly dressy or casual, so there's none of that "omg am I going to be the most dressed up/most casual person there?" anxiety.

If you're still looking for more holiday party ideas, check out last year's post! I've updated all of the outfit details so that you can recreate the look. :)

What is your favorite way to dress up for a holiday party? Are you going to recreate this look for your next occasion?

Thank you so much for reading! Until next time, xo
