Monthly Favorites

my monthly favorites

On My Mind
I've been thinking a lot about my goals for the rest of the year, in various areas of my life. For some reason though, I've been in a bit of a funk when it comes to really pursuing them. Maybe it's because I graduated and am feeling a lack of purpose since attending class used to be my favorite thing to do. Nonetheless, now that I recognize this slump it's time to do something about it! Read below... ;)

I'm not sure if this entirely counts as "reading," but I've been researching different types of planners/daily journals. At first I came across the Bullet Journal technique, and loved how customizable it is. However, it started seeming a little too customizable for me, as it requires totally filling out and creating a template for each and every page. I then found the Passion Planner and am in love! It has a weekly and monthly layout, but also is customizable enough so that I'm able to jot down notes, inspiration, and other miscellaneous topics. How do you plan your schedule? If you have any other suggestions I'd love to hear them!

Ever since picking up these culottes from Forever 21, I just wanna liveee in them. Seriously the comfiest and chicest thing ever. I hope culottes don't go out of style anytime soon, but even if they do, that's not gonna stop me from continuing to wear them 😈

I recently ordered this Tartelette Tease mini eyeshadow palette (also here), and needless to say I'm in love! Some natural beauty products don't last as long or can crease easily, but this weekend I used a few of the colors in this palette and danced (aka sweating) all night without any signs of creasing. I swear by Tarte's products, and this palette is just another testimony to their greatness (this is also not sponsored, I just love them 😂).

A chic turtleneck for fall; this one to be exact. Oh, and to actually keep up with exercising. Something that totally fell by the wayside due to traveling so much during these past few summer months... whoops. ;P
