Transitioning From Winter To Spring

We went from sub-zero temperatures to 60 degrees and sunny within a week... yep I think it's safe to say spring may be upon us soon. But I'm not ready to write off winter in the DC area yet, you know how temperamental the weather can be here!

Guys. I used to have a hate-hate relationship with cardigans, as I felt I looked like a grandma in them. Now that I found one that is a tad more fitted + has the added benefit of keeping me toasty (merino wool FTW), I can proceed with this post.

In transitioning from winter → spring, there's no need to run out and replenish your wardrobe. A thin merino cardigan acts as a layer between any residual chill in the air, and not to mention it looks awesome tucked-in. With the simple trick of cuffing and rolling up your sleeves (pro tip: also makes a petite girl look taller) and switching those booties for flats, you're all set.

Some people only wear certain colors depending on the season- i.e. darker colors in winter, and pastels/white in spring and summer. I say wear whatever you want, whenever you want, as long as it's seasonally appropriate ;) (as this outfit is!).

Thanks so much for reading, and have a wonderful week! Xo
