Spring Uniform // Major Hair Change

Military jacket (Forever 21, similar) / Banana Republic linen tee / Gap jeans (similar) / Loft belt (similarlove this) / Gap penny loafers (similarsimilar) / Catbird rings / Forever 21 necklace (similarsimilar)

Happy hump day everybody! This is the first post featuring my new hair cut + color. I haven't had it this short since I was like... 5 years old. My inspiration for the long bob was this photo, and I wanted the color to be a more subtle version of this. I'm so happy with how it came out, and just in time for the hot, sticky weather that's about to hit DC! I'm still getting the hang of styling it, so hopefully it has more potential than how it looks in these photos. ;P What do you think of the long bob trend lately?

So now, let's talk about this outfit. In my last post I promised to share my likely-to-be spring uniform with you all. As basic of an outfit as it may seem, I've found myself reaching for the v-neck tee and jeans combo quite a bit lately. Not only is it super comfy during a long day of classes and work, it's also cute with the added pieces of jewelry and a military jacket. I love the combination of military green and brown (jacket + belt/loafers)! I must also mention, this linen tee is essential to staying cool in the summertime. Such a lightweight material that doesn't cling to your skin! So, what's your "uniform" as of lately?

Thank you so much for reading! I'd love to hear from you in the comments section. :)

  1. I love this style! I've been wanting a military jacket just like that! They always look so cute. My spring uniform lately has been jeans and flowy tank tops!

Your hair is super cute by the way!

    1. Thank you so much, Cori! Your spring uniform sounds pretty similar to mine... it's all about the loose, comfy tops and jeans!
