Hello my loves! After seeing lots of pin-worthy half-tuck inspiration, I had been wanting to post an outfit replicating this kind of look. After some trial and error in front of my mirror, I did not feel that my current blouses were worthy of the half-tuck since most of them are of a stiffer material. When I bought this pretty button-down last week, I knew the flowiness of it would be perfect for the style I had in mind. You'll have to excuse the wind though, it was throwing off my groove a little.

I love the way the half-tuck gives this flirty blouse a more laid-back feel. Paired with a pearl necklace and flats, it might have been too polished of an outfit if I had tucked the shirt in all the way. However, with the half-tuck, I feel like sassily singing "I woke up like this."

Anyway, now I feel the need to rave about these flats. I wrote about them in this post, but I'll say it again- these flats are the most comfortable (& stylish, may I add) shoes for walking around all day, and did not require any breaking in. Oh, and they're $49. I'm super picky about what I deem to be comfortable or not, so take it from me. After almost a year of sauntering around in these snakeskin ones to see if they passed the test, I decided to pull the trigger on getting a second pair of leopard ones (told you I was picky...see how long I waited?). It's my first pair of leopard-anything!

I'm also super excited because this Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is my first ever designer bag. So many firsts! I looked around for months before settling on this one- the criteria was as follows: versatile (day to night), black, crossbody, & matches many outfits. I wanted something I could wear every single day, and never have to worry about switching around my purses like I normally do out of boredom with any given bag.

So, what do you think? Are you feelin' the half-tuck, or is there another way you'd rather style a button-down?
